I think having a "reload all" might be useful. For example, if you checkout a different branch in git and suddenly have 10 files loaded in Geany that need to be reloaded.

While using Geany in Gnome I found that sometimes code navigations was slow,
changing to a new line o making selections were reflected after aprox 1 second
on the screen.
Just opening a file and navigating doesn't trigger this problem, after editing,
saving or selecting some text the issue shows up.
I have other setup of Stretch with MATE desktop and the problem isn't there.
I also compiled a clone of the geany github repo and I was able to reproduce the
problem (in Gnome).
(I filed a bug report to the debian package)

For example, take this Ruby code:
```Ruby
(0..9).each do |i|
puts i
puts '-' if (i % 3) == 0
end
```
If you do Ctrl+E, it will produce this:
```Ruby
#(0..9).each do |i|
# puts i
# puts '-' if (i % 3) == 0
#end
```
But, I'd like it to produce this:
```Ruby
#(0..9).each do |i|
# puts i
#
# puts '-' if (i % 3) == 0
#end
```
You can imagine that code with many blank newlines makes it hard to distinguish if the whole block is commented, or just sections.
Is there a setting for this?
I think this is useful for usually-single-line-commented languages, like Ruby/Python, especially if your settings don't strip spaces on newline.
Thanks.

I am having the same identical issue as this 'closed' thread - https://github.com/geany/geany/issues/2922
Can anyone explain?

It would be so perfect to have those elements in the Customize Toolbar, so one could place them in the toolbar for a fast access:
- Show Line Endings
- Show White Space
- Line Wrapping
- Show Line numbers
- Hide/show menu bar (or even more perfect: menu-symbol, like in Firefox)
Or, is there a tutorial how to add elements in the Customize Toolbar?
By the way, the White Spaces are too small and nearly invisible.

For some reason I don't yet know, Travis fails fairly randomly building GP: I seen problems with `dh-marshal` (possibly due to out-of-tree build? but why is it random?) and now with WebHelper's enums (there doesn't seem to be an error but the enum types are missing (although they are present in Git).

I use geany with webhelper on debian 8.3 x 32.
On my previous PC (also with debian 8) I had the same problem but it disappeared after update of debian, geany and plugins.
Now I have new laptop with up-to-date debian and with the same problem. I have geany ver.1.26 and webhelper ver. 1.26+dfsg-1.
No difference which site or local html file I use, webhelper itself works great. But when I press web inspector button or choose 'inspect element' from right-click menu, geany immediately crashes.
If I start geany from terminal. after the crash I see:
> a@b:~$ geany
Segmentation fault
a@b:~$
Geany is the best lightweight IDE ever and I hope You'll help me to solve the problem.
TY in advance!

Currently, the only ways to change the folding is:
- toggle current fold
- fold all
- unfold all
For files with many nodes (fold points) and deep levels of children nodes, it would be great to have commands for efficient navigation of the hierarchical structure , jumping from node to node and expanding/collapsing them as following:
* 1)) command for folding current node and moving into parent node. After repeated invokation, it will eventually fold the greatest ancestor, of level 0.
* 2)) an opposite command, for unfolding current node and moving into Ist child node. After repeated invokation, it will eventually unfold the Ist path towards a leaf in the tree.
* 3)) command to move to next sibling node
* 4)) command to move to previous sibling node
*
These 4 commands would mirror how the navigation is possible in many file managers' tree view of folders, often with the arrow keys (right/left to collapse/expand, and up/down to jump through sibling nodes).
In addition, the following 2 commands would be useful for fast (but controlled) expansion/collapsing at whole document level:
* 5)) command to fold current node and all nodes of same level as current node, AND move cursor to parent of current node. With repeated invokation, it will fold upwards all nodes in file, untill only nodes of level 0 are visible.
* 6)) opposite command to unfold current node and all nodes of same level as current node, AND move cursor to Ist child of current node. With repeated invokation, it will unfold downwards the nodes in file, untill nodes at the level of the leaf encountered on Ist path from the starting node.
*
These 2 commands would be more useful, IMO, than the fixed-level fold/unfold of all nodes that other editors provide (for ex , Notepad++ ).
