i have a problem with Geany 1.36 under Windows 10. I got only □□□□□□□□□□□□□ in the sidebar and in the status and compiler message window. Only in Windows ! In Raspbian/Debian and on Mac OS its ok !

It would be very useful to provide commands to sort selected rows in alphabetical (character code) order (and reverse) or numeric order (and reverse).

It would be very useful to either display current character code in status bar – à la [Babelpad](https://babelstone.co.uk/Software/BabelPad.html) – or provide a shortcut key to open a popup with full character information, like full Unicode code and name – à la [EmEditor](http://www.emeditor.org/en/dlg_character_code_value_dialog_index.….
Examples:
- U+2010: HYPHEN: ‐
- U+002D: HYPHEN-MINUS: -
- U+2212: MINUS SIGN: −

The document list in the sidebar provides an overview of open documents that is often much clearer than the tab bar.
I often find it much easier to go to a certain document by looking at the document list.
However, currently I need the mouse to actually open it from the document list.
It would be very useful to be able to navigate the document list with the keyboard.
I would propose to add 2 keybinding: One to go to the next document in the document list and one to go to the previous document.
When going past the last document in a directory it should go to the next directory in the list and vice versa.
When going past the end of the list it should wrap to the beginning and vice versa.
The kate editor has these keybindings under the name "Next Document" and "Previous Document" under "katefiletree".

The Fossil history log/timeline entries are printed in single lines in VC-LOG editor tab.
When a log's commit message is very long, it requires a lot of horizontal scrolling. This may be tedious and inconvenient.
It should be possible to limit the width of the Fossil log to some reasonable value, so that the long messages will be wrapped (`fossil timeline --width`).
