[Geany] Cannot overwrite files on FTP-Servers

So far, I have no idea what could be wrong. I just tested overwriting a
file on a FTP server and it worked as expected.

What exactly does "cannot overwrite" mean? Any error messages? What
exactly happens and what not?
Did you try other applications like Leafpad or Scite (Gedit doesn't
help as it works differently when working with remote files).
