Please provide the information requested to see if anyone has the same setup to try to replicate.

Also please try with all plugins disabled.  If it still crashes report here with a GDB backtrace, if not enable plugins singly, ie only one plugin running and see which one causes the crash and report on geany plugins with gdb backtrace.
